i snapped the reverse cable and had to have the rexx towed home pissed off. the next day called Josh at I3 http://www.i3-online.com/ in Simi Valley Ca. 2 days later fixed and rolling again they did a great job. Josh also gave me a great tip on working the Reverse/Forward very simple. you have to be moving slowly to switch back and forth, so if you are in forward make sure you are in first gear let the clutch out slightly to get moving and then pull the lever to reverse it should slip right in with out forcing it and then the same to go into forward, it is amazing how smooth it is sometimes i don't even feel the switch. try it let me know if this helps anyone.

No, you don't have to be moving. You just need to feather the clutch. Several reverse boxes have been broken due to "well it was still moving forward, but not fast enough to break the box.... I didn't think!"

It's good that it worked for you and that you are comfortable with it. I wouldn't recommend it as "preferred".

You must have been cranking on that lever to break a Morse cable! Shocked

Don't know about that. I discovered this myself that you have to slightly move to get it into reverse or forward. When I say "slightly" I mean moving by just a couple of inches very slowly. But if you're just standing still trying to f*ck with the clutch it works only 30% of the time.

Monsieur Daniel Campagna needs a good ass kicking for that reverse.

I was looking at this video and it shows the driver slowly inch forward and rev the engine to pop it into reverse. I could be wrong but it worked for this guy.

OK, you were right. I do it now without moving at all. It takes awhile to get it, but once you do, it's easy to go in reverse and back without moving, just by playing wiht the clutch.
I'm getting a pin installed right above the reverse, whcih I can remove when I need to go in reverse and keep all the other time. Almost every time I do a spinout and a couple of times when I accelerate very fast the damn thing goes in "neutral."
